Intersect Diagnostics Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of renowned data scientist Paul Boutros, PhD, MBA to the company’s Scientific Advisory Board.
Dr. Boutros is director of the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Cancer Data Science program and associate director of cancer informatics at the UCLA Institute for Precision Health, and is a member of the Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research. He is professor in the departments of human genetics and urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Boutros is uniquely capable of advising on the company’s data analytics strategy for its assay pipeline utilizing novel single-cell and spatial discovery technologies. His expertise significantly strengthens the company’s position to create, assemble and deploy winning solutions in this emerging space as it strives to become the leading provider of ultra-high plex assay and analytics services for the life science industry.
