Intersect Diagnostics Inc. is pleased to announce today the filing of a provisional patent application with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) directed to the company’s assay development methodologies in the emerging high-parameter spatial discovery space.

The application, titled “Method For Developing A Highly Multiplexed Immuno-Oncology Assay,” addresses the design, optimization, and validation of high-plexed assays covering novel and well-characterized biomarkers relevant to immunotherapies for both solid and hematologic malignancies.

The application represents an important first step in protecting the Company’s intellectual property and commercial opportunities.
